Its the first time that I had family reunion dinner on CNY eve alone.
Woke up this morning & it feels like another weekend, looking at tweets from friends to have a feel a of CNY mood.
On my way now to TTSH, the bus seated with people who are nicely dressed, while I'm wearing specs, polo & shorts.
Kinda sianx cause I'm someone who loves to dress up during special occasions. But nevertheless, its definitely much more important to dress up comfortably since I'll be staying over for the night to look after dad. Thankful that I have Hubby to accompany to stay there tonight, loves who every now & then apps me to check how's my dad. & relatives who come & visit to show their concern.
Though from the past till now I never love him, but I didn't knew that I would be this concern & lost when something like this happened to him. Just hope that everything will turn out fine.

It's my 12th working day, no issues with cust but big problems with colleagues. They gather behind me to gossip, saying things that are not true. Such as, saying that I'm rude to the agent, having the cheek to tell me that its the other way round.
I was asked why I didn't confront him, I just felt that 大事化小，小事化无 I just wanna do my work & get my pay that's all.
A few of them were gossiping saying that they didn't like me, but what do u actually know about me? U don't even have my mobile, facebook or twitter. & what have I done to make u dislike me? I can't help but to be bothered by it.
I kept telling myself that I don't need them to like me, I just need the customers to like me. But I really wanna know what's wrong.
Its just funny that u are the ones who gather & talk, u come & remind me not to gather around talking.
Hilarious that u go for more than your break time & remind us our break time.
Its just 12 days working here & how hideous & double-faced you all are scares me.

Decided to listen to Hubby & Edwin's advice, to put up a fake mask to face them. Kinda sianx but looks like its the best way to survive.
Met a super weird uncle today,
Weird uncle: 小姐你真美丽!
Me: 谢谢，有什么事吗?
Weird uncle: 我只是要告诉你你真美丽
Me: 谢谢 (thinking he's weird *walk away*)
Weird uncle: I haven't done asking u my question! *frown*
Me: Yes?
Weird uncle: I want apply HDB
Me: *gives him a queue no.* Uncle, u have to go to the 2nd glass door there.
Weird uncle: *shouts* CAN'T U SEE I'M USING A WALKING STICK?! I CAN'T WALK!!!
Me: Uncle, I'm afraid u need to go to that counter.
Weird uncle: *crushes queue ticket & pass it back to me* I don't care! Then I don't want already! *WALK away*

*1 hour later*

Weird uncle: 小妹 my wife is here, she want the queue number to apply
Me: Uncle, may I know which is your wife?
Weird uncle: The prettiest one *uses his walking stick to poke his wife's ass to call her*

Its the 10th day of work today, no nasty customers but nasty colleague. Its obviously that he was in the wrong, yet he had the cheek to 打小报告 making it sound like he wasn't in the wrong.
This is what we call 贼喊抓贼. Seems like I need to be on my toes everyday. The politics here are surfacing & I just wanna be myself, not any clique or what-so-ever.

First day of Jan's BTO launch

Its my 8th day of work today & I need to face the BTO launch already. Kinda sianx cause I haven't went for any training yet, having zero knowledge of policies, & I need to face the large crowd.
Heard that its gonna be worst tomorrow and Saturday. Yes, I have to work from 8am - 1pm this Saturday. T^T
Had been busy for the whole day, being all kan chiong-y & on my toes. Worried that I'll make mistake for the application, cause if there were to be any mistakes, $10 would not be refunded.
Stress, having 3 big pimples, sore throat & didn't went to the toilet the whole day. Yes, this is how hectic it is.
Hope the customers will be nice tomorrow~

Its a brand new year, a brand new day. Decided to welcome it with a brand new hair colour & a brand new job.
Kinda excited about 2012 cause it will be a new challenge. Having mixed feelings of excitement & anxiety, I'm super looking forward to this job & looking forward to plan my savings plan. (having not to work for such a long time)

My resolution for 2012:
1. To be on time (every year its in my resolution list)
2. To clear all debts (poly fees & mac)
3. To spend maximum of $15/day during working days (except transport fee)
4. To convert from contract staff to perm staff
5. To have maximum 7 days MC

New TV

Great news great news!!! I received a call from HDB that they are gonna interview me on Monday, before the interview, there will be a tour around the workplace (does that means that the interview is a sure pass? =x).
Anyway, I'm still not sure whether working there as a customer service officer is a great idea, got a feeling the pay would be kinda far from Starhub's. D= Just go there test market negotiate then say bah.
Meet up with Rea rea, Kenny & Liying for lunch at Hougang mall, then poor Liying have to go home wash clothes, study le. Liying Hwaiting!!! Then 3 of us headed to Expo's Sitex Fair, thanks to circle line, it seems to be much faster now.
After walking a few rounds, only Toshiba is offering 32" LCD TV at $299, when sis & my budget is $300. So, in the end I bought the Toshiba 32" LCD TV (32HV10E). After paying then I realised that the dealer is Mustafa~ Ahhhhhh~ Kinda sad & worried, sad cause felt abit cheated (I thought its audio house or something), worried cause worry its display set or going to spoil those kind.

Home made Tom Yam

Tried cooking Tom Yam soup for the first time! & Sis they all had it for dinner with rice. Actually biggest credit goes to the paste, BUT I spent a lot of effort still!!!
It will turn out better if I added chili & Daddy's chili sauce in it. Hope can cook for my loves to eat, then change the ingredients to straw mushroom, chicken, tofu, tomato. :D *hungry again*
I wanna learn how to cook tastier, faster & more variety! :D

When I was young, I looked up to you like a big brother. I've always respected you & looked up to you, thinking that I want to be with someone like you when I grow up.
Whenever there are people who talk about army officers, you are the first person that comes to my mind.
Till yesterday, you called, hinting me to come over to your place to get my so-called-present & telling me that its your daughter's birthday today. I still went, even when I had to wake up extra early to buy a present for your daughter & try to fit into the specific timming that you gave me to go to your place.
After all the effort I've made, all I get was brags about your house, your TV, your daughter, your daughter's toys. Trying to make me feel bad that my family didn't turn up for your house warming & daughter's baby shower. & get a T-shirt that is a guy's cut that writes army, obviously was for my guy cousin, as my 21st birthday present.
Its just so disappointing. All the respect that I had for you, all gone. My sis felt that its a wasted trip, my time, my ezlink $, the present $ that they are gonna exchange to maybe a shirt or something else? I feel otherwise, if the time & less that $40 can make me see your true colors? Its cheap. & that is how much your personality is worth.

Meet up with Xinni & Peiying

Went out with Xinni in the afternoon for shopping! Was super happy for her when she found the perfect present for her guy, can feel her happiness from deep within. :D
Den we went grocery shopping for steamboat ingredients, went to Peiying's home to have our steamboat session, learnt from her mum how to prepare food faster. Must learn more soo that I'll be more skilled in cooking in the future!
Gigi is super cute lahhhh. I love doggies! & Peiying's mama treat her like her own daughter like a kid, nt a pet. Can feel her love towards Gigi, very patient. :D
We bought too much ingredients for the steamboat le lahhhh. Can't finish. >< Had loads of fun! :D

21st Birthday

After a month of preparation, my birthday is over. D= Had loads of fun & suprises thanks to my loves, without u all my birthday would not be fun & happy for sure.

Thank you Jason Hubby, helping me to start the BBQ fire when u hating the heat more than anything. Helping out with the food preparation on both days, tiring out urself even when u have to go to work right after my chalet check out. Im sorry that I didnt introduce u to all my relatives. Sorry that I grumbled when I went to ur bro's wedding even when u tried ur best introducing me to all ur relatives. I love you!

Thank you Aria, u seldom prepare food even when u're at home. Asked ur family to come over to increase the crowd, making me not so disappointed. Giving up swimming even when u wanted to cause u want to help out with the cake pop preparation.

Thank you Kenny, always helping out to carry all those stuff to & fro. Helping me to bring the beer, the ice box, carrying the food back. Letting us stay at ur place on the 29th, acting like u're very upset about use goin to ur place to make the surprise work. Without u, the surprise would not be the same.

Thank you Liying & Jian Hui, staying over for the night even when u have to wake up soo early the next day cause u've got school. Helping up to set up the decoration. Using ur place to make the cupcake, even when it will make ur place a mess thanks to the fondant & icing sugar.

Through this birthday celebration I really feel blessed with u all, without anyone of u, my life would never be this colouful. I love all of u & love the present tat u all gave! =D Meow~

MBS with Loves & Mama's Bday Celebration

Went to MBS with Rea rea, Kenny, Ying, Jian hui & Hubby! We meet up for lunch @ Watami, the food is not bad, just that the waiting time was too long. Then we took cab over to MBS, there was a bit of problem when we did the check in, so we could only check in 2 hours later. Went to the roof top swimming pool to have a swim first.
Cause I have dinner plans with Mum, Dajie, Erjie & Auntie Sabrina. While hubby is going steamboat with his colleagues. Worried that if we dont swim, we'll have to wait till tomorrow morning.
After swimming, Hubby send me over to suntec to meet my family @ mad for garlic.

Went to skypark to swim in the morning, passed Jennifer the room card & we went to take bus. Initally we wanted to take bus to suntec have Aston, but the bus changed its route, so we ended up at bugis. Planned to eat Ma Maison, but they are closed for lunch, so we ended up eating Shokudo. Also not bad.

I cant help but get upset about what they say
But I'm really glad to have Rea rea & you by my side
Still questioning whether bringing you back to see them was right
It seemed like they just have more awful stuff to say after all the effort that we've made

Mixed emotions

When mum came back, I told her what sis said, & just when I started my first sentence, I became a water tap. I couldn't control my emotions & just kept on crying.
I couldn't help but feel that every time I put in effort for my family members, I'm always hurt. I questioned myself why should I even bother?
Tried to calm myself down called hubby & he made me smile. Lied on the bed without falling asleep. Then went to bath when all are asleep except mama.
When I was almost done bathing mama asked "what's taking you so long?" I was thinking is it that he wants to bath that's why mama is rushing me? But still I came out of the bathroom & saw mama sitting at the kitchen.
She asked me whether did I wash my hair, & told me to dry my hair. Nagged me not to put the hair dryer too close to my hair.
I smiled. Its the first time that she nagged me & I smiled, a genuine smile that came from my heart.
Then she made 药粉for me to eat, cause I was coughing when bathing. I told her I was fuming this afternoon when I was at the shop. She smiled & reply "Its such a small issue & you got angry about it"
I love my mama. <3

Shopping Spree!!!

Mama suggested to go lucky plaza today to eat the fish soup there, thought that should spend more time with her. So we went to lucky food centre to eat the fish soup, there was a long queue & the food centre was packed with loads of people.

Then brought mama to the underpass linking lucky plaza & taka, she was kinda shocked & happy cause she didn't knew there was such an convienent underpass. She always walked to the traffic light near paragon whenever she wants to go over to taka.

Just when we were about to start shopping at taka, she received a phone call from her supervisor, she told mama that they are short-handed at mandarin gallery & wants her to go there to take over her colleague for lunch.

Initially I'm a little angry cause I was really enjoy spending time with mama & she seems very happy which made me happy. But I felt that her colleague was kinda poor thing cause it was already 2 plus and she's all alone mending the shop.

So I walked her over to mandarin gallery, when we reached there, her colleague told mama to stay till 9 plus, I was super shocked, cause she was like demanding her to stay & didn't give mama any choice when its her only off day for this week.

I could tell that mama doesn't wish to stay & kept rushing her colleague to go for lunch, & that bytch said "why should you bother what time I'm going off to eat when you staying till 9 plus". I couldn't take it & said "Mama, I thought its your off day today?!"

Then she told me "Xiao mei, you can go home already, or do you want to stay here & wait for your mum?" I was super pissed & told her "Whether am I staying or not I'll leave it for my mum to tell me" I couldn't stay there any longer cause I knew that if I stayed there any longer, I would blow up & scream at that bytch.

Who is she to order my mum to stay like that!? I felt so upset, cause I couldn't do anything. I'm worried that if I were to scream at that bytch, she would bad mouth my mum behind her back, or make things difficult for her when she work, or even say that I'm an ill mannered girl & question my mum didn't she teach me any manners.

I left orchard & went to bugis street to stock up some pretty clothes. After shopping at wisma, taka, far east these places, I've learnt that its super difficult for me to buy clothes at these places as the price difference is huge.

After 3 hours of shopping, I've spent $99.90! Woot!

First visit of permanent hair removal

Made a reservation at the Dhoby Ghaut branch, was being attended by an MIC staff, I showed her the eVoucher on my phone & she treated my phone quite roughly loh! I heard "pak" when my phone was placed on her desk! Super pissed.
When I was in the room preparing to do the treatment, she was like "we need to be faster cause there is a customer waiting"
My OS was like "am I not a customer?"
But anyway, I still did the treatment & its pretty good. First they put generous amount of gel on your underarms, & the MIC told me that the gel is cold before hand so I'll give her some credit for that.
Then I wore this super cool "sunglasses" & the treatment starts. It feels abit tingly but still acceptable. The whole session is around 15 mins.
There will be follow up sessions every bi-monthly for the first year & treatments for the second year(if necessary). Let's just pray hard & hope that the results are good.

Spring cleaning!

Went Kenny's place to stay over with Rea rea, watched running man & played monopoly deal! Fen fen & Dou dou is super cute de lahhhh.
Early in the morning Rea rea went to 537, while Kenny & I slept till 9. Kenny said her papa needs to go ave 1 to buy stuff, got a free ride &&& Kenny was the driver! Woot! *super honored*
Tabao-ed food back home & mama told me to mop the floor. I didn't mind cause the floor is really kinda eeiky.
Mopped the floor with dry fibre cloth (magic clean that kind, but mine is ntuc brand. :D) Then mopped it again with a soap-soaked mop, mopped again with water-soaked mop. *floor shines*
Was super in the spring cleaning mood, soo I hanged the clothes out to dry, then cleaned 2 x basins, 2 x toilet bowls & sink. Super tired & hungry de.
Then cooked 2 packs of 100 mee (dry mee) with egg! & watched an episode of running man. Almost choked myself while laughin! LOL! Thanks to mei's recommendation, I watched the eng sub version & find that I can catch the sub better.
Bathed & prepared myself to go JP meet Shifu! Hees! Gonna go Arena with Shifu & Wendy tonight! Wooooot!
Doing house work is more tiring than clubbing. >< I miss bie bie.

Shopping!!!

Went shopping with rea rea today, first stop was Ajisen @ Plaza Singapura, then went to john little & bought bra set & eyelash glue. Drank Gong Cha after that.
Next we walked to Marks & Spencer @ Centrepoint, the things there are super ex! A pair of simple demin shorts cost $85!!! Omg~
Then went to Forever21 @ 313, the store is huge, think its the biggest Forever21 in Singapore.
Though there are loads of clothes, but the size aren't fitting for me, tried a pretty pink tube dress, it was too big. D:
We then went to Taka to shop, there was a sale there & can use my Taka voucher. Woot! Bought tank top, shorts & towel. & mei bought bedroom slippers, red colour plus hen comfy & she was looking for it for quite sometime already. ^^
Super happy today de. :D

Bling bling craze!

Bought a new hello kitty casing for my 9780 & decided to bling it with swarovski crystals! Went to Arab Street yesterday to find the store Digvijay Sequins, spent 30 mins to find the place, and when I've finally found it, IT'S CLOSED!!! T.T

Took down their operating hours & searched for their contact number online, went to the store again today & i love this place! The store is filled with loads of DIY stuff & their swarovski crystals comes with soo many different colours & sizes.

Bought Jet (Black), Crystal (White/Shinny Crystal), Light Siam (Red), Light Topaz (Yellow), Sap (Blue) & Rose (Pink). Simply love these crystals & think i'll be patronising the shop again soon. The shop keeper is super friendly too. Have nothing to complain other than the location.

Been at parkway parade for half a month plus, miss the people at TM, the bond was really there. Especially when Belle was around.
Don't really like the team at parkway, maybe except Alan, Fylvia, Xiao Belle & Delvin bah.
Wonder would I regret quiting, cause kinda worried that I can't find a job that has similar payout.
But I shouldn't look back now, since I've decided, I should live with my decision. Who knows, I might be working for starhub in the future. But not back to consumer sales that's for sure!

Today is Marcia's big day. Super happy for her de.
Meet rea rea, Jac jac & Ken at nail palace to do medicure & pedicure. Hees. Yes, I'm vain! Hot pink on my toenails & sweet pink on my fingernails. :D
Had ajisen for lunch, wanted to eat volcano ramen but can't, Cox it would worsen my cough. :( Then we went back to doll up & went over to jewel box.
The place was soo pretty & romantic. Felt soo happy for Marcia. Could tell that she's tired, but filled with happiness.
During the ceremony, I felt soo touched & happy for the couple till I teared. In the past, I just felt that its a ceremony to announce a couple moving on to be married status. But today I felt that its not just a ceremony to sign on the certificate, it is a commitment, a promise, a vow to each other. Its just beyond words.
After that, was the dinner. Then meet up with hubby, & hubby sent me home. <3
